The Centennial 30 utilizes 16 plastic recycled 16-oz bottles. The most technical ruck in the day pack line, suitable for such activities as day-long climbing, pushing a 14er summit, or the get-away fly fishing trip.

The most technical ruck in the Mountainsmith daypack line, the Centennial 30 pack is ideal for such activities as day-long climbs, 14er summits, or getaway fly-fishing trips. The slim profile provides 1,890 cubic inches of storage, but expands to provide up to 2,320 cubic inches--plenty of space for hikers looking to prolong the hike as long as possible. The bag also offers several pockets and attachment points, including a top-loading main compartment, a zippered internal stash pocket, an ice axe and tool loop, dual trekking pole mounts, and an expandable front-panel sleeve/shovel pocket. You can even attach a Mountainsmith camera case to the bag using the specially designed shoulder strap attachment loop.

The Centennial 30 is also comfortable and supportive, with an Airmesh back panel with lumbar support and a removable 1.5-foot waist belt. Proper hydration is always a concern on the trail, which is why the pack includes an internal hydration bladder sleeve with an exit port (bladder not included). Perhaps the coolest feature, however, is the 100-percent recycled 450-denier ReDura PET body fabric. The pack is made using 16 recycled 16-ounce plastic bottles, making it a great choice for eco-conscious hikers.
